SGI Dials and Buttons

The Silicon Graphics Dials and Buttons (a.k.a. Dial and Button Box) is an input device consisting of 8 dials (potentiometers) and 32 buttons (keys).

It can be used with various CAD/CAM software on IRIX to provide more convenient input for various tasks (e.g. the dials can be mapped to pan/zoom functions, to modify the dimensions of objects, to move around 3D space, etc. and the buttons can be used to trigger macros or other functions).

To use this on IRIX, you must first install the drivers by installing the eoe.sw.optinput subsystem. See the Installation Guide in the Documents section below for more information.
